About the project

No Me Olvides is a platform to document and preserve the cultural heritage of villages in depopulated rural Spain.

Each point on the map is a village with a history, with voices that once inhabited it and with a memory that deserves to be told. Through first-person audio narratives, we recover those stories before silence erases them forever.

No Me Olvides aims to train and create an on-site digital guide that knows and narrates all these stories, accompanying national and international visitors during their stay in the village, discovering the points of interest one by one and recounting their peculiarities and anecdotes — creating an immersive and unique experience for the visitors of each locality.
